My Quilting Frame Hubby Made

Welcome to the 104th "Sunday Favorites"

I was bound and determined I was going to finish the quilt I am working on by January.
The darn sewing machine is not cooperating.I had to give it up I was getting frustrated, thread kept breaking. My throat is sore and I'm not feeling all that great .
That still doesn't excuse my machine.Oh well

I'll just take a break and show off my quilting frame my hubby made me and the machine I'm mad at. He really did a great job on the frame.I still have a lot to learn to master the setup.I thought it would be easier then it is. I have quilted one quilt on it.
Got to go try again as you can see in the picture I have some stitching to take out.Already changed the needle may be the thread I'm using didn't use it in the last quilt.God Bless

Alicia's Quilt

Join Chari at happytodesign to view more Sunday Favorites..... my repost from the pass.......

After I became unable to work I wanted to try my hand at making a quilt top again. I had only made one top some twenty years ago. I had hand quilted a top about fifteen years ago but that is nothing like making a top. I had lots of scraps of fabric given to me by my mother and aunt they had acquired over the years from sewing factory's which have been long gone.

I searched patterns that I could use the small pieces on and came across Quilters Cache where I found the pattern I used Planned Patchhood.

My oldest granddaughter Alicia liked it, so I gave it to her and this started my quilting for my grand children. I used flannel sheets as batting and the backing fabric I got for forty nine cents a yard so this quilt didn't cost much at all.She loves it, that is all that really matters. God Bless

Sharing a older post from the past.....

My Collection

Lord, help me to remember that nothing is
going to happen to me today that you
and I can't handle together.
This was a gift to my Aunt Rachel.
Just before she pasted away she gave it back to me.
Its a very pretty quote.
It is a nice addition to my collection of Hummingbirds.

God Bless Trish

My first grade of school. Just for the fun of it.

In a comment tell me which one you think I am.

I was only five years old.

If it will help you and I should be so bold look for the prettiest one. Just kidding. LoL

Later in another post I'll reveal who was right.
