Craiglist Fines

Some of my favorite things this week are......

The china cabinet I found on craiglist some two years ago. I have never used it ...it has been stored waiting on me to paint it.

last week while my girls were here painting the bedroom for me I had hubby and Ashley to bring this up to my dinning room.

I have two many other projects I want to paint
so I decided I would use her just like she is.

she doesn't match the table. I left the table that went with her at our other house for my sister because it fit that space better and I wanted a bigger one.

I found this table on craigslist to...I guess they look ok together. I was getting
dispread for more storage. I still have lots of dishes boxed up that I am going to dress her up with.
For now I cleaned out my kitchen cabinets that were screaming at me.
A lot of these are my goodwill fines......
the rooster in the middle was a mothers day gift this year. The white plate and bowl I got at GW I liked these because my grandmothers used these when I was young.
I have found only two plates and the one bowl so far.
I don't know what the deal is with the differ sizsed writing I couldn't change it.

Hi Trish...

Oooh...what a beautiful china hutch, my friend! I say that you scored "big time" with this Craigslist treasure find! I think your dining room table matches fine! Wow, my friend...it sounds like you have been a busy little bee! I'm curious...what are your girls painting at your place? Sounds exciting!!!

Well dear lady, thank you for sharing your beautiful china hutch with us...you have accessorized it so beautifully already! Take care, my friend and don't work too hard! Hehe!

Warmest summery wishes,
Chari

I love your cabinet - the more places to put things the better and it's beautiful. I especially like the rooster plate! Nice gift.

I think they look fine together. People don't match woods like they used to. I'm glad you didn't paint the hutch. I think it looks better in the natural wood tone. Those are great finds from craigslist.

Beautiful china cabinet. Imo, it's not necessary for the china cabinet and dining room table to match. They look just fine together.

What a pretty hutch! Craigslist is great fun for interesting finds. The hutch looks pretty in the room. I prefer eclectic to matchy-matchy. ☺

Thanks for sharing! Happy FTF! ☺

If only we had Craigslist here!
The hutch looks fabulous, and it looks fine with the dining table too.

Love that cabinet. I had a hutch that sat outside for a good 8 months waiting to be prettified with paint but when it was done it looked great.

Yours looks wonderful with your dining table without the paint job.

Thank you for showing us some of the treasures housed in the cabinet and thanks for dropping by FTF this week Trish! Lovely to meet you.

I think your china is lovely as is, at least from the picture it doesn't look the finish is that bad. Of course... it would also look good in white ;-)
