Sisters

Sisters got together for  Mary's birthday last evening. We went to a near by Café called Miss Betty's. We were all there but one she had to work the night shift and was sleeping.

Mary is the one in front....I am the one to her right.

 
Sister Regina is the youngest she is in the red shirt. Later we went to see her new grand baby we have had three born in the last six months. Carrington is the youngest. She is a doll. I took this photo while we were there.

Hubby Photos

I've been working in the garden, not much time for anything else. The garden is at its end so I will have more time to read blogs. My hens are laying now. I had my first country eggs yesterday morning they were very good. I gave my son the first one's to hatch out.

Hubby made this picture of a wild turkey and her baby in our back yard last week....I haven't used a camera since we were on vacation so I'll share his photos.

Owl

I tried three times to upload the video we made of the white water rapids. The fourth time worked.
Only because I used the shortest one. I was trying to load the best, it didn't work, this will give you the idea.
I so wish I could have shown the other one.

           It just came a down pour here. Ya!
           We so needed it. My poor chickens did too.
           The heat has been bad for them, then I think what will the winter be like.
           I thought they would be laying this month. I was wrong...not yet.

That camera I ordered came in handy it has a 18 zoom on it.

We had to take it on vacation,my granddaughter borrowed my and now can't fine it.

Twenty Six Years Ago

It was suggested that I show the first picture of us that was made after we married....in my last post I showed the second one we had made in our twenty six years of marriage...quite a difference...the two boys are mine I had before we married Doug has two girls.

Hello too all my buddies in blog land. I have had quite a change in my schedule of late...as has my hubby he has went from day's to night's at work and I seem to have too. Not a lot to tell you about our garden is growing quite slow, my chicken's are still growing but have not layed yet. I have been doing a lot of reading....no sewing.

Hubby and I did go and have our picture taken...first one we have had done in twenty five years.
Every year we paid to our fire department and could have gotten a free eleven by fourteen each year
but never have done it until this year. I did take then all just so as to give them to our kids so
they will have one to remember us. This will probably be the last one we go and have made. What a change twenty six years can make.

Park Photos

Good Morning!
   Lovely morning here. I have just gotten home from taking my granddaughter to school. Yesterday I went for a walk in the park before coming home. I have done this a few times lately. I decided I would take some pictures of our park and share with you. Show what I have been up to.

We have a walking path, a tourist center, a picnic area, a waterfall and stream.  

I wondered what the red blooming tree was so I took the picture hoping I could fine out.

The stream has been drained this week . The ducks are missing they're water. 

It will be filled again, the river runs to the east side of the park.

Another thing I have been doing is reading, and a lot of it. I any now reading the Forgotten Garden.
