Iris Iridescent Depression Glass

Changes are taking place, first place being the china cabinet. I know I have said I have some dishes I wanted to show that my dear aunt Rachel gave me before she passed away.

She had promised them to me some thirty years ago and in 2006 she told me to take them home with me...she passed later that year.

She started this collection when she was still at home, got these dishes from the old time peddler a piece at a time, sometimes buying candy this is the story I remember best about the candy.

The largest bowl I got from eBay...she has this bowl and it can up missing before I got the dishes.    these two are fruit bowls and the eight berry bowls......

Six saucers two more small bowls.
I don't know what these are called .
One platter.

Pitcher and six glasses

Sugar and Creamer.
 and the
two fruit bowls again.

A soup bowl, Candle holder.
The Vase I got on eBay.

Berry Bowls

 Iris Iridescent Depression Glass.
I would like to have the plates someday.
I also have another set of dishes that my aunt on the other side, my dads side
gave me when I got married. Will show you them later.
I have just now been unpacking these dishes,  been looking for  another cabinet , without any luck so far. I decided to go ahead and use what I had. I'll still be looking.

So pretty. I have so many dishes my mother passed on to me. Now, I am passing them on to our children. I am so ready to get rid of EVERYthing that I don't use. I am in the middle of culling my dining room right now.
