Reading

Have been doing some more reading. My hobby for now is what I will call it can't seem to get into anything else.
My list....... First book in a series of six.

These were all good old fashion kind of books. I just loved them so much had to read them all.

The first two were small print,being older I would guess. The rest were in large print.

I really do enjoy the large print. I am going to start another of her series.

 I have also been working on a quilt top for my great grand baby.

Just now downloaded Google Chrome


It works with blogger. The problem is Internet Explorer doesn't work with bloggers since Google has taken over. So I will use Chrome for my blog and Internet Explorer for everything else.

This is the book I was going to show in my last post.

I have read another of his books Cross. This book was a bit gruesome. Lots of killings.

Alex Cross was a rising star in the Washington, DC, Police Department when an unknown shooter gunned down his wife, Maria, in front of him.

I have found that I can not upload images. This new computer I have has windows 10. It has not worked well in any thing since I have had it. The email locked up and I haven't been able to use it at all.

Name of the book is Beach House by James Patterson

A little about it

Hummingbird Collection

Time is moving on, hubby has been on vacation this pass week, we have just been setting at home. Of course I wanted to go places, he didn't. He is having a bad time with his hips hurting so guess he just wanted to take it easy, so I didn't push.

I have spend a lot of time reading. Now I am reading James Patterson & Marshall Karp NYPD RED 3. I could finish it tonight if I tried.

I go to the library to get the large print so much easier to read. I also get only the new books.

 I have so many books myself that I haven't read, they are all in small print, strain's my eyes so bad. Don't know if I will ever read them....need to have a yard sale.

                                      A few of my hummingbird collection, there are four here.

Whats For Supper

What is better then a good bowl of chili on a cold day. 

 

 

I say nothing.  Hubby is sleeping so I will

wait until he gets up for work before eating.

Reading

To cold to be walking, can't clean house or sew. Why you ask..... My Hubby has to sleep during the day. He went back on nights the first of January. Its for three days a week so I have been spending my time reading. 

I love to read...read this book in one day sat up until I finished it.

 

 

Went back to the library, got three more books. I have been getting the ones with large print.
I think its time for new glasses. 
  Although the first book was good it didn't compare to the second or  third one.

The next two books were so good. I had no idea what they were going to be about. Was a bit of a shock when I started reading the first one.
 I got a blessing from reading these books, both of them not just one were telling about Jesus.
The  first one was so good. The second one WAS BETTER... a book about the life of Ruth. The Book Of Ruth from the Bible.

You know the lord must have know I needed to read these, for me to pick up both. I still have one more to read that I picked up that day. Maybe it'll be just as good.

Park Photos

Good Morning!
   Lovely morning here. I have just gotten home from taking my granddaughter to school. Yesterday I went for a walk in the park before coming home. I have done this a few times lately. I decided I would take some pictures of our park and share with you. Show what I have been up to.

We have a walking path, a tourist center, a picnic area, a waterfall and stream.  

I wondered what the red blooming tree was so I took the picture hoping I could fine out.

The stream has been drained this week . The ducks are missing they're water. 

It will be filled again, the river runs to the east side of the park.

Another thing I have been doing is reading, and a lot of it. I any now reading the Forgotten Garden.
