Wild Flowers

Hello my dear's hope everyone is doing good.

    My header is of flowers I planted two years ago. My granddaughter took this picture. I saved it from my Facebook page. You know I lost all my pictures expect what I shared on here and Facebook.

    They never did come back. It was from a package of wild flowers. They should have come back, don't you think.  

Roses

Good thing I took the photos when I did. I looked out yesterday and they were all gone.

FLOWERS

The Easter Lily has bloomed, a little late for Easter its now June. Was Easter last year when it was brought. Think this is its normal time of year to blooms along with all the other lily's.

Last year was our first year at this house, Morning Glory came up in a planting box that was already here. My hubby like them so this year he staked them so they could climb. The photo was taken yesterday. He took it so I could see them, they only bloom in the morning. I am not a morning gal so I never get to see them.  Very pretty all one color.

This little bush is growing good got it about three weeks ago.
Butterfly Bush.

Put in a pot thinking it wouldn't do much this first year. Now I don't know. This is the pot I had my old fashion petunias in last year not a one came back up in this pot. I put seeds in a few more pots last year. I have seem only two little ones, I don't know if they will make it or not. 

Sweet William's

What my Mother use to call Sweet William's

are the flowers I have that are also called Dianthus. There are different ones. My flowers are the Dianthus Barbatus.

Never get too old to learn something new.

Please Help

Well I do believe I have named my flowers wrong that I used in the header.

 My next door neighbor has grown these same flowers a few years and she told me what she though they were.

 Well I went to Marvin's this evening, was looking at potted plants, they had Dianthus for sell. The ones they had were what I have always called pinks.

If you know what they are please tell me. I just sowed wild flowers last year so I don't have a clue what they are. I am going to look at photos and see if I can figure them out but your help would be much appreciated.

We went to see the new house that my grand daughter moved to. My great grand came back home with me went to sleep and stayed asleep the hole time she was here. She didn't sleep good last night in a different place, I'm guessing that was what was wrong. Poor baby was so tired her parent's won't get much sleep tonight.

Mountain Laurel or Azalea

    This is on the side of the neighbor house closest to me. I thought it was a Azalea. She said it was there when she moved in. She was told it was a Mountain Laurel.  I cant fine one that looks like this on the web. What are your thoughts, what is it.






I want to update this, it  is a Azalea. My sister has one just like it she said it was a Azalea.

My Computer & Flowers

Good day to you all. I have been having computer problems. 

My hubby said get rid of that one, I will buy you another, he did took a week for it to get here. Its a  hp all in one 19 inch screen.

Now how long will it take me to get use to it. Completely different then my old one. I had windows 7 that wouldn't work with blogger any longer, so I tried google chrome it worked with blogger. My computer was still so slow.

First thing when I signed into blogger on this new one, said I had a error. So I may have to down load chrome on this one. I think the problem is with google and Internet explorer.  

I will see if the photos will load ok now.... yes they did.

My crape myrtle bush....I like this color even though I didn't plant
it...... its pretty. The hydrangea bush beside it did not have one bloom on it. I don't know if it had been cut down before we moved here or what the problem was.




  Two colors of Petunias came back, these are from seeds that my sister gave me... I don't remember having but the darker ones last year now these are so much prettier.

 

  Our garden ....the tomatoes have gone to vine....when a tomato does come on the vine we have to pull it before it turns so the squirrels don't get it....have only had two so far the squirrels are pulling them green. My strawberries never did come up. I am sure the squirrels are to blame for that as well.

   Cucumbers are doing good. I have one eggplant. Have a good day.   

My Mother

Happy Mothers Day To All Mothers. Yesterday was my Mother's Birthday & to day Is Mothers Day.

I made her the only thing I could. A saddle of Flower's...pretty yellow ones. Bet she is having a marvelous day where she is now.

I tried my hand at this, it turned out ok. She would have like it, she was always trying her hand

at this. She had a friend that had a flower shop, worked for her sometimes.

Would have been eighty yesterday.

Was seventy five when she left for her new home.

                                      Mother of nine I am the oldest, only sixteen years between us.

Life

Hope all is well with all you sweet ladies that leave me such sweet comments.

What I did today. I took a lady to the doctor, she is 91, had fallen a few week ago and can't drive, o she doesn't like it because she can't drive and has to rely on someone else. That was in the morning, in the evening she had a hair appointment, by that time we were both give out.....ready for a nap.


I didn't mange to get a nap.
When my sister got off work we went out to eat at Rafael's.
I tried something new today the Malibu Chicken Sandwich. Like everything else they have it was good. So much of it, I cut it in half brought the other half home.


Then we went walking. I took Abby with us she needs to get a little exercise as well.
Hubby was sleeping he works at night.


Then I came home, set down at the computer that has not been working well.
I have been planting flowers. I don't know how many of you go to the dollar tree, This is where I fine my pots. The pass two years I have gotten new pots, mine from last year faded out so I went and got new ones. Next year I plan on spray panting them all.


I got up went,  got my phone and took these photos of my front porch.

I have been having computer problems, this is the only picture it would load.

Does anyone happen to know what this shrub is the green plant, we planted the Azalea.

 I planted the pinks that are beside the Azalea that you can't even see.

Rose Bushes

Good Morning!

 Today is the day I get my new washer and dryer. I wrote in a earlier post about how I hated the new ones I had just received....you know the lid locking, water saving, no agitator one ...they are leaving today for one with a agitator. Happy!!!!!

My pretty rose bushes!! Hubby went to work with his fishing line, to hopefully  help then to stand up. After the storms they were laying over really bad.

I cut a piece off my mothers rose bush after she had passed away

three years ago and this is what I have now. Her sister gave her a cutting to start hers.

Painting

Hello to each and every one of my blogger buddy's. Its almost four o'clock my two oldest granddaughters have left after painting for a couple of hours. I am hiring them to do a bedroom for me.

This is the bedroom that Alicia had when she was living with me. I had let her paint it whatever color she wanted at the time. It was a little to dark for me so here is the new color. I think its gray they think its light light purple.

You can see the base board was the color she had painted this one wall the other wall was lighter purple

she never did finish her painting of the base boards.

They are going to come back

tomorrow to finish it and paint the trim....that's a string from the blinds you see hanging down....I had to go back into the room to see what it was myself. 

Now the reason I didn't know for sure what the color was going to look like is because I got it out of the bargain

paint  where someone mixed it and didn't buy it....there was three gallons of the same color at 5.48  each....I'm cheap like that people.... just can't seem to help myself.

I  like it so I will be using it in my other two rooms....if I can get the girls to paint them....I am just not up to doing this anymore. I had started to painting this shelf. My sister had sitting on her front porch to put in the trash.

I couldn't see it being throw out.

What would that cost to buy.

 I sanded it and put two coats of paint on it....it still needed another one so my sweet sweet Hubby his name is Doug...finished it for me

today...now he's outside painting the closet doors that we haven't gotten around to since we moved. I had painted them all with primer.....then my old body just said no more painting.

 Here it is now

 Its holding my crafting flowers now.

I will be moving it to the newly painted room.

Fabric I won

 I received the fabric that I won from jaici's it is very pretty and will go nice in Libby quilt.

I took my mom to the Dr. yesterday....when I took her home I saw

her pretty lily and had to make a picture of  it  to show its a double
