Sweet William's

What my Mother use to call Sweet William's
are the flowers I have that are also called Dianthus. There are different ones. My flowers are the Dianthus Barbatus.

Never get too old to learn something new.

Hope they won't mind me copying this.

I'm glad you found out the other name for your flowers. That sounds very familiar. I think my mother grew Sweet Williams in the house I grew up at in upstate NY.

Very old garden flowers, I like them but didn't have them in my many
gardens. To many new plants to try out, I guess.
