Boat Ride

The week of July the fourth Doug was on vacation, we went on a trip to NC and in a earlier post I shared the Train ride we took . I will share the Riverboat ride we took in this post. We went back to Chattanooga TN for this. Now that I have done these two things.. I only have a plane ride left I haven't done.

This boat was the office where we got tickets, it was a shop and restaurant as well.Same boat in both pictures
You can see the  Chattanooga Aquarium to the left of it.

A close up of the Chattanooga Aquarium
hubby and me.

The Delta Queen is a hotel on the water it is a old retired riverboat.

There were three bridges really close together.
Barges all along the river being loaded with supply.

These were brave folks to me out in that big river on surf boards padding, one was not to smart didn't have on a life jacket the other did.

Looks like a fun time. Paddling is the newest rage. We saw them this year in Mammoth Lakes.

Hi,
I love Chattanooga, too. I didn't know they had turned the Delta Queen into a hotel. That's neat. I'm going to check your earlier post that I missed about your trip.

Trish, thanks for following and We LOVE TN - we went on that very boat ride and enjoyed it so much! We're looking to do the train ride perhaps this fall, when it's so very pretty up that way!

Trish,
I like those photos of you and your husband side by side, very nice. All the photos are very good.
I've never been on a steam boat but I've been on a plane. I like Chattanooga too. Looks like an enjoyable trip.

So, did you spend the night on the riverboat? Eat dinner on the riverboat? Sounds so wonderful!
