Fourth Day Of August

 Hello To All This Fourth Day Of August

Cut okra Saturday then again yesterday. I cooked a mess then today took my sister a mess. She came over and helped plant it so I try to see to it she gets her share. 

She had corn she was putting up, Doug had said he sure would like some corn on the cob. So I took four ears to cook for his supper.

Other then working in the garden, I stay at home, do a little sewing to pass the time. Lately I have not been in the mood to sew so its been about a week, need to get back at it. I have a quilt top with half the blocks made not sewn together yet.

   

                                         Just waiting on me.

   This is also my youngest granddaughters birthday. I don't know when I will see her. I texted her today. I think they have gone back to school. I am not to happy about that, will give them more of a chance to get sick then bring it home, not a good thing right now, although I know staying home all the time is so hard on kids.

 All I can do is pray for the best. Take Care

Hello I Have Internet

 I have been without internet after moving. I had it on my phone, couldn't post from the phone I use.

We signed papers on our new to us house on Dec 10. Hubby was cleaning cabinets out on the 12th fell backward off a step stood broke his knee in three places. He couldn't walk at all, so we came to the new house because it has wheel chair access.

I had to stay here all the time with him,didn't get to do any of my packing or moving like I had plans of doing. Wanted to do away with a lot of things. Didn't happen.

Today I went to Walmart got a phone from version that has 15 GB of data WITH HOTSPOT, new plan that's good until April . Just so I could get back on the internet. HAHA.

During this time both our computers bit the dust. I did get the pictures off his laptop couldn't get them off my desk top. Had to take to the pro's. Now I am using a computer my sister had stored. Haven't made any more pictures to share.

I have just this week started back to working on my quilt I was working on in my last post.

Hubby still can not put any weight on the knee he broke he is really having a hard time with the walker now his shoulders are giving out on him.

 Wouldn't you know the yard needs moving now. I still haven't got a lawn mower. Will be glad when he can walk again...I know he will...he had plans of having a garden...not sure about that I'm not wanting to do the hoeing. lol

New Storage Building

We make a move back in Dec. Yesterday this was delivered. I have been waiting patiently for this day. It was a while in the making then it rained. then it rained, then it rained...oh boy finally.
                                                                   

We still have a  10 x 10 storage rented, now more moving to empty it out, I am glad to get it done.
I need to move a lot out of the house, its going to be like having another room.

You can see a little of my strawberry bed ,  We have tomatoes & cucumbers in the garden so far.
I forgot the Asparagus one plant has come up. It won't do anything this year, have to wait on it.

 I have planted flowers around the tree three times nothing but weeds have come up. I don't have a green thumb this is for sure. I planted tomatoes and onions in side, nothing came up.
hubby planted they tomatoes guess that's why they are living.
                                                                             

We hung a owl out to scare away the squirrels and birds, it hasn't worked, my aunt said I don't have enough of them she has five out and they are working for her birds, don't know if it would help with the squirrels, we have way to many of them. 

 We may have to invest in more or they will eat our garden....surprised they haven't already started.
