I was bound and determined I was going to finish the quilt I am working on by January.
The darn sewing machine is not cooperating.I had to give it up I was getting frustrated, thread kept breaking. My throat is sore and I'm not feeling all that great .
That still doesn't excuse my machine.Oh well
I'll just take a break and show off my quilting frame my hubby made me and the machine I'm mad at. He really did a great job on the frame.I still have a lot to learn to master the setup.I thought it would be easier then it is. I have quilted one quilt on it.
Got to go try again as you can see in the picture I have some stitching to take out.Already changed the needle may be the thread I'm using didn't use it in the last quilt.God Bless
Trish

WOW! This is quite a quilting set up :) Lucky girl :)
Hi Trish...
Ohhh my goodness...your husband did a fabulous job making this quilting frame for you, my friend! How very sweet...what a blessing he is! You know, as soon as I seen your photos, I thought of my beloved grandma who almost always had her quilting frame set up in the living room. Of course, she did all of her quilting by hand which I can't even begin to imagine! Sure brings back sooo many sweet and precious memories to me! Well dear friend, I am so sorry to hear that your machine is acting up and that you have a sore throat as well! Feel better, dear lady!
Thank you so much for joining in with the Sunday Favorites repost party this week!
Warmest wishes,

Great job your hubby did - I wish I could quilt Trish - I LOVE quilts. So safe and homey feeling.
The quilt frame looks great. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I bought some thread recently that kept breaking and once I tried another spool it was fine. The thread that kept breaking wasn't cheap thread either. Hope you get your thread problem solved soon and that you feel better also.
Hang in there, Trish, with the sore throat, and the sewing. I found I needed lots of practice just to get the hang of it. You'll be enjoying it soon.

Hope you are doing better!

What a fabulous job your husband did. I have the same sewing machine and I keep looking for a frame to go with it. I love this machine. Happy Quilting!
