I have been waiting to show it because I made it for a birthday present for my great grand's daddy.
His birthday is the twenty ninth of this month. He will never suspect that I would make him a quilt.
He used my grand daughters all the time so I thought that would be something he would like.
I used as many of the same fabric's as I could of the quilt I made my grand daughters here.
The blue and white border is what I backed hers and her sister's in I also used it in the front of her quilt. Its a snowflake fabric that I got for 49 cents a yard about seven years ago and it has come in handle. This quilt didn't cost me anything but my time and getting it quilted.
As you can see this is quite late. I had it set to show last Wednesday so I thought. Well that didn't happen.

Wow, that is so beautiful!
Oh my goodness, how talented you are to make something so beautiful. I know he loved it...I've wondered how much they charge to quilt...I love making the tops but hate trying to quilt it on my vintage Singer....
What a beautiful quilt!!! He will treasure it. It is nicely quilted. Hugs, LJ
