God took another angel home!
After a long weekend of suffering, some of the worst pain I have ever witnessed, my sister Mary passed away yesterday evening. She had fought this cancer for five long years. She had two twin daughters that she didn't want to leave. She did get to see them turn sixteen.
She would not give up the fight even now, she did not aim to go and leave her girls, it was out of her hands this time.
I am glad that her suffering is over. She is without a doubt a angel now.
She would have been fifty six next month.

This is what my grand daughter wrote on Facebook.
May you rest in peace, Aunt Mary. You were, and always will be remembered as, a wonderful person. A negative word never crossed your lips. We all love you and you will always be treasured. I'm just glad to know you're no longer in pain. Watch over us like I know you will. Keep smiling

I'm very sorry for your loss, Trish. Yes, there is comfort in knowing she's no longer in pain. My FIL died of pancreatic cancer when Katie was a baby. It was a very difficult time. Sad to see him go, but relief that he was finally out of pain.

It's so sad to lose your sister at such a young age - I'm so sorry.
It is difficult to find words of comfort at a time like this.
