Derick has a hobby of looking for old things that he can find with his metal detector...he is a outdoors man .... he likes to hunt and fish.......he is my youngest. Week before Last I went to his youngest daughters birthday party he's holding her.... he was showing me what he had found.
I took pictures to share with you.......there is one in particular that I want to ask if you can Identified..... we know what it is can you tell me what it was used for.
A few more of what he has found ........ he is holding a bullet
and there is a hatchet blade and a hammer but we don't know what the other
object is........can you name it.
What could this hammer have been used for.
these next pictures are of a gift they gave me for mothers day I had already shown the rooster picture
they gave me ....I really liked this one its Derick with his girls ......his wife Angie had it made for me
the top picture is hardest to see ....him and the girls are beside a creek it was taken on a trip you can see the
trees behind them
I had to go and make a bigger picture of this so you could see
you also can see one of my turtles I have three others that's considered
a collection isn't it
one resides in the kitchen on my water filter machine
one on the frig as a magnet
the other is being used as a door stop he is solid iron
I got him at a craft show being held at the civic center in
Huntsville Al a few years ago me and my sister both got one
hers sits in the floor in front of her double doors to.
that's my turtle collection....wishing you all have a happy day .
especially Derick.

Hi Trish - No idea what the hammer was used for. Your son has a really cool hobby. Thanks for stopping by my blog & becoming a follower. I am your newest follower. Have a blessed Sunday.
The one at the top looks like a lifter for cook stove lids.
I don't know what the T shaped item is though.
Hey Trish...glad you liked my door moldings! :)
My son collects turtles..I'll have to show him your collection. (he's 10..he loves all things green and turtles too)
Hugs
Missy :)
PS..I have no clue what that t thingy is, but am very intrigued :)
Aren't collections fun? I collect foxes and just love them. I suppose they speak to us in some way.
You asked if the picture I had was mine on one of my posts - no, it is from the gal that did it - really nice, isn't it.
Blessings to you!
Hi Trish, Cute pictures of your family. Just wanted to let you know I have received the note cards and the two wall plaques, and they are super sweet! Thanks again for having your give away.
