Hubby has been the finisher of this project he painted the trim or I guess it would have never been done.
Today he hung the curtain rods and I put up a pair of toile curtains. I have to tell you this has always been one of my wished to have a toile bedroom...however this is not really what I had in mind but being as frugal as I am it will have to do...for now anyways.
I did say a pair of curtains didn't I ....the problem is I have two windows. You know now when you go to buy curtains they don't come in pairs anymore... they are sold as panels. The new trend I guess....so I went with it in this room....... I wanted to use my 9.99 pair of toile curtains that I found at GW........and this is the room with the Burgundy bed covers....SO WILL THEY WORK....I DON'T KNOW.
A close up so you can see that they have house's on them a lot of different houses. I only captioned one it gives you a idea.. We are still working on it.
the chest was a twenty five dollar yard sale find from my brother
the old floors need to be redone so don't mind them.
I am going to put a rug down that I got last year for Alicia to use in this room.
These floors are cold in the winter.....she wasn't here long enough to get to use it ....as the court made her go back home . THE BEDDING I WILL BE USING WAS HERS TOO.
she didn't have a full sized bed at home so she left it here for now.

I really like them, I think they look great!
Hi Trish...I love the paint color! When I worked for a fabric upholstery store I loved the toile fabrics the best! I'd want a few yards of each of them! Very pretty room!~
Beautiful toile!
Curtains are very nice, like the houses, don't think I have seen houses before. Great color too. Thanks for visiting our tea party. Hugs...Lu
I'm crazy over toile! The curtains look great! Love it all!
HI Trish! Oh, I love your toile curtains. I have some very similar toile that I made curtains for a little condo we own and rent! Looks almost the same. I love your wall color too! Can't wait to see your finished room! You're doing great on it.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
