In order for you to see why... I think these are my favorite cabinets you will need to visit a post on what they looked like before here
.....oh yes you are looking at the same cabinets....a little paint and new hardware has gone a long way
close up of my grandmothers old butter dish....I remember it so well being on her table at ever meal
now its my candy dish I keep soft peppermint sticks in it...my sisters like them when they visit....
my number 1 rooster
now for something I have never done...... show the blog world the inside of my cabinets........lol
I will show my bottom shelf first with my rooster plates,
glasses,bowls....
my everyday dishes are in the dishwasher that match my white cups and bowls.
as you can see I like my roosters.
second shelf is my cups and old old bowls
Also on the second shelf is my corning ware....a few pieces that are handy for me to reach. My mother gave me the big one with the heart on it...she passed away in January.
My top shelf's hold what I call the not so pretty stuff.
I have a bad habit of saving ever jar I empty no matter what kind it is ....I have a collection of them.
In the first picture I posted you can see I use them to.
I canned my tomatoes in them and reused the lids that
were on them and they worked.
I wouldn't tell anyone else to do that...but I did it.
I really meant to recycle them...so far there is no place close so I have boxes in my storage building....hubby just doesn't understand it.
I'm siting here laughing thinking how this must sound to you.
back to the cupboards
Top shelf
is where I store everything else.
This is just one of my cupboards, all are full and I need more space..... can we ever have enough.
Visit Shelia for more on the inside story and see what others have to share. I know I'll be there, decorating doesn't come naturally to me so I have to

What a fun party! You are so fun to show the inside. I had just done an inside post of where I store everything. I love your memories. It made me think of my grandmother's kitchen. When she died I took a video tour of her house and told all of my fond memories of her house. Those memories never die do they?
Hi Trish! Oh, wonderful cabinets! I remember the before and I love the 'now' look of your cabinets. Love the white. You have lots too so you've got lots of storage! You seem to be very neat and organized in them too! Yay, for Roosters! :) You grandmother's butter dish is very pretty! My grandmother used to keep the butter out like that all the time. They made their own and she had one of those big butter churns. Wish I had it!
Thank you so much, Trish, for coming to my party.
You are a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Trish- I loved seeing your roos and the Corning Ware with the heart. That is a pattern I've never seen before. It reminds me of a Penn. Dutch pattern. How nice that you have your grandmother's butter dish and that you use it on a regular basis. Thanks for stopping by. Shelia always throws a good party.

Nope..Trish..we can never have enough cupboards. Yours are full to the brim with all sorts of interesting things. (and all neat and organized..unlike mine!)
I cut the bottom of my hutch picture off because you could see a couple of my BIG platters peaking out from underneath. :) Ah well...
Love your kitchen! These are some great shots, and you have such neat things.
You probably need to change the password to your email and also don't open emails from people you don't know or odd looking ones from people you do know. You might have opened something and clicked on it, and now they are getting addresses from your blog storage and emailing you with those. Not sure what is going on, but it sounds like you have a virus. Maybe you need to change your password. That might help. Or change your email address for your blog and shut that one down altogether.
XO,
Sheila
You have a really cute kitchen~~ love the roosters!
