The call came in this morning that they accepted our offer......we will be moving...just not sure when or how long this process will take....the house will need quite a bit of cleaning it has been sitting closed up since April during the hottest year we have had so you can guess how musty it smells........going over and opening up the windows today. These are the pictures that were in the realty listing..........
I remember when this house was build..... my parents had build a house across the road from it......it was build in 63 and they build they're in 63 or 64.......we already lived on this road before the houses were build.....then In 66 we moved to Chicago Ill..........that's another story.......wondering what these cabinet would look like white.....what is the best kind of paint to use on cabinets.
Have a good day.
God Bless Trish

Trish, CONGRATS.. I'm so happy for you... That is gorgeous!!!!! Love the big kitchen... AND--you'll have a room for quilting and stitching... Yeah!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I think the cabinets would look great painted. What color is the counter top? The people at the paint store can tell you the best paint to use. I would imagine there will be a lot of stripping or sanding to do before you can paint.
I'm glad you'll ahve room for your quilting.
It's beautiful...I think the cabinets would look wonderful white! Good luck with the move.
Hi, Trish,
Congratulations on your upcoming move. It's always such fun to decorate and get all your things in order when you move. I know you will have fun.

Answered prayers. I am so happy for you.
I can relate to your move and house. My house was built in new in 1964 and I will be here until they haul me off.
Congratulations! I like your kitchen. If I lived near you I would come help you. Your kitchen is pretty and I know you will be decorating and getting ready for a sewing room. Happy Quilting!
We built our home ourselves and had alot of help too,and learned alot about painting, staining, etc. We used an antique white paint plus primer from the Home Depot store for doors and some cabinets. We have lived in our home for six years and have only painted once since that first time. I am so happy for you. Tung oil is good for staining and Magic erasers are good with grease lightning for cleaning. We had moved from out trailor till got through building. There wasnt enough room in the trailor for everything and the kids were getting older and needed their own rooms and the bathrooms were tiny. So I am happy for you that you got some room and to sew.Cant wait for you to show us a picture of your sewing room when you get everything fixed up. Wish I could be there to help!
That is wonderful...So glad that you found something nice. I am sure those cabinets will look wonderful white. I know you will be busy but I will be thinking of you. Hugs, Kim
congrats, and happy nesting! You'll have a little work ahead of you to make it "your own", but it will be such fun, too. You'll have to post before/after photos for us all to see as you get your rooms arranged!
Congrats Patricia - I hope you will be very happy there. That is a huge kitchen - may many happy dinners take place there.
