My Buddy Is Gone
I have been very lazy in my bloging this year. Have had some bad times I am going to blame it on this don't really know the reason. My dad passed away in April then my Aunt Marbrey passed away the second of this month. She was my talking buddy, quilting buddy. I have shared a lot of her quilts here on my blog. I have one last one to share she just had it quilted the week before she was gone.
It was layed out at her funeral so I took a picture. Don't guess I would have ever seen it other wise. I told her I would put it on facebook for her when she had it done and so I did. She was 79 in June my dad was 88. She did love to make quilts, As I do.
A picture of her and my mother, she is in the red my mother has been gone almost 8 years now.

Oh, bless your heart...so so hard losing those we love so much. We all share in our grief and missing them. Her quilt is just beautiful....take care, dear friend.
A lovely quilt with a touching story. I know you will miss her dearly, but I hope you feel her presence watching over you as you make many more quilts. She looks so happy in the picture.

Dear Trish, I'm so sorry about your dad and your aunt. It's so hard to lose our loved ones. I've had numerous losses in my family this past couple of years as well.
