Aunt Marbrey's Quilts

I went on a short trip yesterday it was a two hour drive one way. I drove my Aunt to B J'S-custom-quilting-fabric In McMinnville Tn. This shop is where she takes all her quilts to be quilted, they do a fabulous job.

My Aunt Marbrey is the quilter of most of the quilts I have shown you on my blog.
On this trip she took four quilts. They were so busy this day there were ten quilts in head of us.
We got there around ten o'clock and they were ready by one o'clock.

I got a look at the machine they were using, it isn't like any I have seen before it was commercial all the way. They could run a quilt threw it in ten to fifteen minutes. She also has them to bind all her quilts, they furnish the backing and the batting in the price. I put in a link if anyone lives close enough to visit . It is so hard to fine quilters in my area. I took a quilt there about 27 years ago, since then I have quilted my own.

If I ever do quilt anymore I may have to have them quilted, the all arms and hands don't work as well as they use to.

Very pretty quilts! For quilts that size, I think I would have to have someone quilt them for me. It would take me forever as opposed to 15 minutes on a machine!

Hi Trish! I just love the quilts and that little Sunbonnet Sue is my favorite. Hope you're doing well and thank you for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,

Those are very nice quilts. I like the stitch pattern they used. I hand quilt my quilts now but sometimes my hands really hurt. So having them quilted in the future will happen, I'm sure.
