my Aunt Kitty who passed away this month. I attended her funeral last Saturday. She would have been eighty next month.
She was my mothers sister and a quilter, I have blogged about a quilt she gave me here . Her son gave me a photo that she had of our family that was made back in 1960.
My two youngest sisters Ruby and Regina were not yet born only seven of us here. I am the oldest.

Trish, I am very sorry for your loss.I hope your family can take comfort in fond memories of your aunt Kitty.
I love looking at old pictures. They could easily be anyone's family.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your aunt. It's hard when someone we love passes even when they are older. I love the pictures! I just can't imagine having that many brothers and sisters. I just have one sister but my mom's mom had 5 kids and my dad's mom had 15 kids!
Hugs,
Angela

So sorry. The picture of you could be me at that age. Same hair and all.

Trish...So sorry for the lost of your aunt. I so love the picture. She was beautiful on the outside...and I am sure you knew how beautiful on the inside she was. It is so hard to lose someone who has "had a hand" in our up bringing. I know the quilt means the world to you.
