This has been a busy busy week for me. I still have a few more beautiful quilts to show you.
My Aunt made these quilts. I love seeing quilts myself so I hope you like seeing them as well.
Sun Bonnet Sue is on her bed in the spare bedroom.
This is one of three she has been working on.
This is the first to be set together.
She is making them for her grand daughters for
when they graduate.
I had shown two more of her quilts like this one done a good while back if you would like to see them go here.

No black Friday shopping for us, we don't like the crazy crowds either.
The flower basket quilt is so pretty, I love the bright colors.
Smiles,
Carol
What wonderful graduation gifts
These are lovely! I love your new festive header too!!! I didn't do any black Friday shopping ( I did buy one thing on line) but my whole family did!
Beautiful, the both of them! that's work, I know. Love the posie(?) flowers.
I love these quilts. When my first daughter was born, a sweet neighbor made her a sun bonnet sue quilt in pinks. I always took good care of it and she still has it and treasures it.
Thank you for visiting and I also hope you had a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving day. Hug...Lu

First of all - I really like your blog header!! It is so festive. I had a great time shopping at Black Friday...you are much wiser to stay home. =0)
Another beautiful quilt, Trish!

Hi Trish. What lovely quilts. I know there's so much work in these. The sunbonnet Sue has always been one of my favorite patterns.Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and thank you for popping in to see me.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Those are beautiful quilts!! That second one looks similar to one my grandma used to make.
I'm glad you all had a nice Thanksgiving. We went shopping for a little while on Friday and got some good deals. We didn't go out early. We wanted to wait until the 'madness' was over! I don't like the crowds either.
Hope you have a good week!
beautiful quilts trish! How wonderful that your aunt is making them for her grands!

Trish...these are so adorable! I just love both of them...what a talented lady!
Sweet blessings,
Laura
Thank you for sharing the beautiful quilts. I haven't made a quilt for many years so it was a real treat to see the 'sunbonnet Sue' quilt, especially. I never had a daughter but I think if I had that would be the one I would love for a little girl. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a post...it is appreciated. Be happy, be well, and enjoy a wonderful Christmas season. Hugs, Gayle.
