Bath Redo Beware

Hello long time....  I have been in a wee bit of a slump or dump really don't know what to call it ...no energy..... this time of the year the allergies really work on my sinuses and my eyes....have gone to the dr twice for sinus and stopped up head every morning....first round of meds didn't do any good now I'm on the second round I have to take for fourteen days.

My son has been working on our front bathroom . I have taken some pictures of it in the process of  him removing it and I thought.... should I show this are not... it's kind of scary........well be prepared.....  I'll show you any ways..................

This is where I'll go in a case of a Tornado it has 2x6 studs in the walls
we didn't want to have to remove all the tiles we were going to tile over them...the tub would not

come out any other way he had no choice but to remove them and I know you know
what a mess we have had with dust....I was trying to avoid that. This bathroom didn't have a
a vent or a electric outlet in it so hubby is going to fix that.
This tub was solid steel or iron they had a time removing it....
it must have weighted between 300or 500 lbs.
He is retiling it now as I write this don't know how long it will take
I do know I'll be glad.... my floors are a nightmare and we have hubby's mother
here three days a week with one bathroom that is in the room where she sleeps
which is another nightmare.

P.S.I already had the sinus infection before he started working on the bathroom.

Oh, Trish..there's nothing as bad as an ole sinus infection. So sorry you aren't feeling good...
But...so happy you are getting a new bath. How exciting is that. I just LOVE new stuff, don't you.:))
Feel better soon, sister friend.

Sinus infections are nasty. I used to get them all the time until I started heading them off at the pass by using a neti pot and taking nettle tablets. Those really worked for me. Taking the meds from the doc always gave me an upset stomach. Nothing worse than being all stuffed up, nothing tastes good and then to be nauseous on top of that--no fun. Hope you feel better soon. Missed you!

Hi Trish...

Ohhh..I'm so sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well, my friend! Sending good thoughts and prayers your way! It seems that this time of the year is good for sinus and allergy problems. I just got over a long bout of it myself. Ohhh boy...bet that tearing our your bath doesn't help you out much either but who can resist a remodeling project? Hehe! Can't wait to see the finished product...how very exciting! I'm just tickled pink for you, Darlin'!

Feel better, my friend!

Bless your heart, hope it's finished soon so things can get back to normal for you. I'd imagine the dust from the bathroom renovation played havoc on your sinuses. I know it does mine. Hope this second round of meds works for you.

I am on antibiotics now for a snius infection - so I am right there with you - the allergies are murder.

Well, it is a mess now - but think what a great bathrooom you will have soon and your son did it!

You will have to show a picture when it is finished.

Love,
