Hand Quilted Dresden Plate

Beautiful Sunday here still cold but with the sun shining it was not to bad. My Mother and I went to visit my dad at the hospital found him doing fine. After our visit I came home and read

up on some of your blogs, you know this is very enjoyable, the hardest thing about it for me is that I'm not a writer.

This blue and white Dresden Plate was my second quilt. The top was already printed, that would be a cheaters quilt.I said I wanted to hand quilt a quilt before I died and I did it took me almost three years. I was still working at that time. I gave it to my youngest son so when we went to his house for Christmas I asked if I could take a picture of it to post on my blog of course they didn't mind, his wife had it in the guess bedroom.
