I have to share my pretty bushes. Its to hot to stay out side and enjoy them. I stayed just long enough to get a picture.
Just a little piece in front of this bush we have a bed of hornets in the ground.
I remember seeing them last year but only one or two
this year its been so hot I haven't been outside much.
Hubby has been seeing them.
He called pest control this morning they are coming out in the morning to hopefully get rid of them. They don't look like the normal ones, we have been looking at the web, they have black where the stinger is most have yellow, don't know what the different is.
This bush is just about gone now the pictures were taken about a month ago.

Hi Trish! Oh, your hydrangeas are so gorgeous. I don't see that pretty blue color that often. Your little granddaughter is a little darling! Now about those hornets! Those are scary. I didn't know they actually buried themselves in the ground but we had a bout with them last year. A neighbor told us to pour a little lighter fluid or gas ( I don't remember) and set it on fire. We did that and it killed them off. It didn't set the ground on fire like I thought it would. I was amazed at how long the fire could be seen popping out of the holes! Good look with them. I love your beautiful crepe myrtles!
