Great Grand A Quilt

A little project I have been working on for my Great Grand Baby. My first try at appliqueing . I thought the cats would be easy. Using up scraps from quilts I have made my grand children. 

After cutting the cats out I got to thanking the baby would start chewing on things and the applique would ravel out after so many washing and It would need washing with a baby so I wasn't going to do the applique.

 When my granddaughter saw the cats she wanted me to do the cats so I did. Still kinda uneasy about the raveling. 

Now to find a fabric to do the borders in.
