My Living Room

The First thing I brought when we got moved, was a sofa. It had just arrived when I took this picture
it has recliner on both ends. This is where I wanted it set, then hubby got a new chair, he wanted the cable to the TV put at another place so I had to move the sofa now his chair sets on this wall.

Remember we downsized and things don't fit as well as you would sometimes like.
I am ok with that, I love this little house we now have, will get rid of more stuff if I have too.
It will be a while before I can get the pictures up. I still have a storage building full we haven't moved yet and don't know what pictures I want to use.
These are the only two pieces we have gotten, still no table and chairs.

I still wanted to show you what I can of the house starting with the living room.

My little heater setting in front of the fireplace
It can be used for the look without the heat.

To the side is a closet just like in the olden house.

It has the cutest chandelier...I just love the blinds. As you can see the hanging of curtains is going to
be a challenge, no room for a rod on the side by the door.

That's the living room.
We had a good day my son and his daughter and great grand baby came and spend the day.
I cooked black-eyed peas and hog jowl and greens.

WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY NEW YEARS DAY 2015.

Thank you for the house tour! I love the couch and that recliner looks very comfy. The chandelier is adorable. I've always wanted to get one of those heaters. It takes awhile to get settled especially when you have to downsize and find room for what you keep. Looking forward to see more of your home when you're ready.

Your house is looking lovely. It is hard to downsize. I keep working at it. Happy New Year to you and your family.
