Out With The Old In With The New

One more sale today. I have been selling everything I can in order to move and not have to lift or ask anyone else to do the lifting. I figure I will be just as well off selling as paying someone to move it.

Its not like I have a lot of new furniture everything is pretty old. I wouldn't mind having some new.
This bedroom suite has a new owner, a thirteen year old.

her granny brought it for her they are going to paint it black. Its solid wood made by Broyhill.
I sold it for three hundred dollars. Now on to see what else I can find to sell.
I am thinking my china cabinet.....table and chairs. I have never had a new one its about time.

Up date on selling my house they have moved the closing date out yet again, this is only the fourth time, its out to Sept 15 now. I am beginning to wonder.

The grandma got a great deal on that furniture. :)

sometimes old is better--like us!

good luck with the closing date.

I adore older furniture...
I, too, sold a lot of stuff, gave grandkids what they wanted and now, there's a few pieces I sold that I wish I had back. Sooo, if you have something you love, hang on to it for awhile to make sure you can't use it in your new home. :)
Good luck on closing on your house.

The bedroom set is gorgeous. One lucky new owner! If I move, it will probably be to Tennessee and I have two strong sons who live there and will help me so I'm all set. Most of my furniture is old too but a lot has sentimental value so it goes with me. I hope your closing date doesn't keep being moved back.
