Quilting Bee

  I have visited this Quilting bee a few times with my Aunt. It is located in Ala so we can not join in, it is still nice to see the quits they are working on from time to time.

The little lady pictured hear in the plaid shirt made the top being worked on, she is 95 years young.

                                 I didn't ask what she called it, I call it a fan pattern.

    I remember when my grandmother had one of these frames. She had enough daughters to call it a quilting bee, they all quilted when they were still at home. On my mothers side.

   
    I do love seeing quilts. Amazing the color combinations people come up with to me that's what makes a quilt.
