Its raining its pouring....its well needed.... and I'm so glad it waited till night time....... we had to go to Nashville today to take Alicia to the Dentist....we went to Cracker Barrel to eat and I took my camera....Alicia was smelling a candle or I should say smelling the candles.....I told her to pose for me smelling the candle......
I took a lot of pictures today to many to show in one post.....my hubby went and drove and his Mother was with us....tonight he went to bed saying he felt like something was setting on his chest......I told him what it sounded like to me his heart but he said no that is not what it is....he is getting shorter and shorter of breath from smoking and he already has emphysema....I said you may need to be on oxygen if your chest is hurting he said what good will that do if I can't stop smoking.....I don't have the answer to that and don't know a thing I can do........well I do to.... pray is all I can do.
I got off track...........some more of my pictures from Cracker Barrel
these old tools caught my eye I do remember most all of them
I ask this waitress if she minded me taking pictures
she said know of course not go right ahead....I think
most Cracker Barrels have the same things hanging on the walls
most are old vintage pieces ....I guess its good someone want to save them
and of course all the goo goo's ....moon pies.....cracker jacks...jelly beans
brings back old memoires doesn't it........one more on this post as we were
leaving the store had to get the orange Tennessee chairs .......
more pretty from inside the store on my next post.
God Bless Trish

Hi Trish, OH---I hope the rain comes to us.. We desperately need it. We got a tiny bit last night --but are still about 8 inches below normal.
Sorry to hear about your husband. My Daddy smoked and died at age 79 from Emphysema. I have never smoked (thank God) --and luckily nobody in my family smokes. I cannot stand to be around cigarette smoke these days. I'm so glad that restaurants are now smoke-free.
Your hubby had better stop smoking --and get some help.... I know it worries you... God Bless You both.
Hugs,
Betsy

Love the Cracker Barrel. We have one not far from home. When we are on the road we will stop at one. You know they have good food. Sorry to hear about your husbands condition. Hope he takes care of it soon.
Cracker Barrel is one of our favorite places to eat! There are so many things to look at and buy.
I hope your husband will quit smoking! I'm sure it's a hard habit to break.
Trish... I love Cracker Barrel too! I love their food and looking at all the old tools and such.
I really hope your husband addresses the situation. I understand quitting (smoking) is really difficult, but I think he would feel so much better. Prayers from here for him and your family.

Cracker Barrel is our favorite but they totally removed one that we went to often. We have to go out of state to find one anymore! They have such good food there, and we like to look at the decorations on the walls - such fun!
Don't cha love that place? Makes me want to come home and redecorate every time I visit. Did you see any lye soap while you were there?
Your husband (and you too) will be in my prayers!

Thank You Sweet Ladies....Love Trish
I love Cracker Barrel too.
Oh my goodness - men are so stubborn when it comes to their health. I will say a prayer for you both.
Love,
sandie
Hey Trish!
We went to the Cracker Barrel to eat for lunch today! I had the beef in the foil. Yummy! I have always taken my kids to eat there instead of McDonalds because it is healthier plus it really doesn't cost that much more for us to eat there and it is a real meal.
Sorry about your husband. My mom is in the same boat. She won't quit smoking at all. She had quit for a month but found someone to go get her smokes for her. I'm allergic to it and can't breath around it at all. It is just a touch situation for all smokers I would say.
We finally had a really good rain today while we were out. We got soaked! Loved every minute of it though.
Hugs,
Angela
Oh, the stuff in your CB is different than the one I went to today.
