We did go out to eat for Doug's birthday but he changed his mind and we went to a restaurant near us and he had a hamburger steak instead of the hamburger I said he would want....that was good we didn't have to drive so far.
After we came home I spray painted some pots to put on my front porch...and potted some flowers I got a few days ago....the flowers are small so I didn't take pictures of them yet.....but I did take pictures of one end of our front porch where Doug has been landscaping....he has worked hard on this....still has the other end to put mulch on...he has already weeded it. This is looking at the front of the house......
this is the same azalea looking from the end of the porch
you can see there is another one just like it at the other end of the porch......my hosta is about coveredup...this is the only Iris that is blooming. I'll have some other colors blooming by next week. Doug moved some of my gladiolus back behind his hydrangea when he was landscaping.
It's been about six years now since we planted the azaleas...Doug picked out these two and I picked out two
coral.....mine died.. his lived...... I mean both of mine died and both of his lived...I still haven't gotten over it...I still accuse him of killing them ..LoL...I know that's mean ....lol. He always says you know I wouldn't do that. I do know he didn't do that...mine must have been a weak breed.... lol.
God Bless Trish

Beautiful azaleas, Trish, even if they are HIS... ha ha.....
Hope you are enjoying this gorgeous day in Tennessee.
Hugs,
Betsy
The flowers are beautiful. My husband and I (together) planted four azaleas several years ago. Two flourished and two died, so we planted two more. They died too! We decided we are just destined to be a two-azalea family. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Hope to see you on Pink Saturday!

Hi Trish! Oh, what beautiful azaleas! Too bad their blooms don't last any longer than they do. Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;0
Trish, my love
I wanted to play the 6th photo game, but did not get the rules (I'm just stupid you see...), please enlighten me! :)

Hi Trish,
This is Sandie - I see that you must have from me on Melanie's site. She is one heck of a neat woman - isn't she? Let's see - is Doug your hubby? MIL lives with you.
I forgot her name in Idol - but she was my very favorite - I hate that she went home. Sad.
Whose ever azaleas that end up to be alive - beautiful!
