Jesse's Quilt

Jesse's Quilt was my first dutch doll and first applique.
I found the butterfly fabric at wal-mart it was so pretty
for a little girl.I already had all the other fabrics that would
match the colors in it.They had been given to me by a
dear friend that is a quilter she mailed me a box
of fabric when she learned that I was going to start
quilting and I really didn't have much fabric to start with.
That was the best gift.
I have had this quilt top made for a while.
I Kept getting the older childrens quilts in front of it.

She was younger and I new it wasn't going to be a big deal to her.
So I'm going to wait till she is a little older to give it to her.
Its time for me to get busy and finish her quilt before I start on another.
Only have one more grand child to make one for that will be
my youngest granddaughter. God Bless Trish

Jesse is very lucky to have such a beautiful quilt, especially since it's made with love. :)
I have a quilt Mom made for me, and I cherish it.

Sunbonnet Sue is my favorite pattern. How creative of you to add the butterfly and stars!

Happy Sewing,

Thanks for visiting my blog. I actually live on top of a ridge. About 15 miles south of me is Mount Magazine, the highest point in Arkansas. I only live 2 miles from town (Paris) but 1 mile is a steep climb and I live on top. If you go past my house, a decline starts and after a few winding turns you hit the valley you can see from my back yard. The road then climbs up for 15 miles and there is the mountain top.

Sometimes I tend to take the view for granted, and then something beautful happens (such as the snow or a spectacular sunrise or sunset). I consider that to be my wake up call.

Hi and it's so nice to meet you! What a precious quilt! We're about to have our first grandbaby and my mother is a quilter. She made one for my daughter with the little Dutch girls and little Dutch boys. We don't know what sex the baby is! I really like yours with the other designs in it.
Thanks for popping in to see me and I do hope you'll come back again sometimes.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
